Hef
Hi All, Two of 4 images I've been working on for a retail Park in Warsaw, Poland. I'd like some honest suggestions on how to improve the images especially suggestions on the background which is supposed to be a cityscape thanks dave http://www.cgarchitect.com/forum/filepush.asp?file=Warsaw_1.jpg
salf
In the first image the background doesnt quite fits with the render, specially the city lights part. Oher than that, looks great.
Wojciech Klepacki
Hi, Just out of curiosity: why someone from Ireland makes an images from Park in Warsaw? rgds, Wojciech Klepacki
Hef
yes, the background in the night-time render dosen't work but I'm not sure what to do. I can either add basic 3d buildings into the background or an actual night-time cityscape/suburban photo. Trouble is I can't find any good building material mapping on the web (although I'll admit I haven't looked very hard), also finding a photo for the background is next to impossible Not sure why am Irish man is working on a Polish job,but glad I am - it's a nice scheme. The Architect I'm working for gets quite a lot of foreign work from Russia & Eastern Europe Thanks for your comments guys Dave
ShaunDon
It looks as though your horizon line on the background image in the second rendering is too low -- the wispy vertical clouds look almost as if they're emanating from the ediface of the building. You might try washing some color (easily done overall in post if you don't wanna re-render) from the background images over the render. The predominantly white lighting of the rendered section starkly contrasts your photo backdrops. Looks like a fun project! Cheers, Shaun
