frank1331
What is the prefered software to assemble single frame annimations. I am guessing Adobe Premier, just wondering whatelse there is out there.
IC
I animate so rarely and so basically that I couldn't justify buying/learning a compositing application so I just do it in my 3d app by rendering the sequence with the original renders as background images. William Alexander
QuickTime Pro, 29.99USD is a very inexpensive means to assemble image sequences. As far as compositing there's a freeware application...somehting like 'jasppro' ?????? Do a search for free compositing apps. This one in particular is supposed to be very good.. STRAT
your 3d app you used to create the original renders will normally do it too.

briantone
wda-- I did a quick search for JASPPRO and turned up nothing. I'd be interested in this software if you can remember the exact name. Thanks!
STRAT
Iain - nah, i'm trying out different brands of Italian espresso in my cafetier today. perhaps that last one was a tad strong Brain - as an example, if you use max or viz just load the images into the ram player and save them that way. Crazy Homeless Guy
i am assuming a single frame animation is a Ken Burns style pan across a single image to imply movement of a camera panning a scene. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Burns#Ken_Burns_Effect

3dfreelancer
If it is a Ken Burns effects your after this Open Source thing: "http://www.jahshaka.org/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=2" might be what was ment. The name might imply some Shake relation/spinoff/inspiration. Any compositing application with an animatible? "camera" will do (Shake now very cheap om OSX, Combustion, Fusion, Nuke etc). But surely just as easy in a 3d viewport of any 3d program? 3dfreelancer
