spanish pants Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 hi all, i recently made the swtich to max from xsi and while it´s going well, today i tried to do something in max that i can´t figure out. is it possible to skin shapes/splines together? this was so easy in xsi but this is driving me nuts!!!! spanish pants Posted October 31, 2006 Author Share Posted October 31, 2006 i guess you could call it a "loft' but with out the need for a path, just the shapes. it involves selecting, in order, several shapes with the end result being the mesh. rats! i don't know if i'm explaining myself correctly. lambros Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 ok, select splines and add the surface modifier (play a bit with threshold value to get results on screen).
