jafs00
the grass tiling is too obvious, try mixing two grass textures using a noise map. what software are you using?
Tyorl
the grass tiling is too obvious, try mixing two grass textures using a noise map. what software are you using? Thank you for reply. I'm using MAX R8 SP3, Vray RC2. So in this picture I'm already using Noise map with two grass textures So may be I'll use more complex texture as Noise mixing two noises with 4 grass textures... Added: New image (just some more geometry, still the same grass) - http://img.liveinternet.ru/images/attach/4/19450/19450755_007_BV03_16.jpg

3dSol
hi nice work i would suggest discard the bitmap approach and just go procedural noise and play with colors for the grass, because of the scale youll always get tiles with bitmaps i had never seen that google earth used like that looks cool

I am sad that I have not got Google Earth Pro, from which I would get more accurate picture. I'll try to use only procedural textures and post my results here. arketipo
Hi Tyrol, i like it the image but i feel it a little dark, I mean maybe the light need to be more brighter, and see how the made contrast between the building, and show us more shadows to understand the scale the project. And also maybe a get some color variation to trees. Now it looks to similar, A big project to much details to made, but is a gr8 start. 3dSol
hey the grass work is looking good this is a huuuge project ! another tip is that your environment light is somewhat dark you could make it lighter and adjust its color are you making an animation or grabbing stills? theres this shadow/highlight tool in photochop to help you with dark images quickly you might want to chek it out also cheers

About brightness/contrast I suppose that it all about a monitor on m LCD NEC they are quite bright and not very contrast, but i tried to view this pictures on CRT and they are much darker does any one know how to solve this problem?
