Hello guys, I am building models for school and would like to know if there is some online shop where I can get trees and people to compliment my models ?

....what type of school are you attending? theory/design based or technical/design based? ....i went to a theory/design based school. it would work against us if i had purchased scale people and trees on models.

 

a simple silhoutte cut out of chipboard or balsa for a person was enough to represent scale.

 

..for trees, depending on the scale of your model, i have seen push pins with large round tops, painted white work well, for larger scale, simple skinny dowels might work to give it a stylized look.

 

...for us, time focussed building the perfect scale model of a proffesional level was less time you spent developing the design. the model still should be clean, and well crafted, but we were communicating our design ideas to designers, and not to the lay person.

 

with all that said, if you are looking for professional level scale items, you might try a hobby shop.
