Tim Saunders
I'm posting this at chaos as well. The thing is, I have never had this problem, not at this resolution. I have seen similar errors when rendering large resolution output, but this is different. And even a small 800px test render crashes. the attached image shows the 2 errors I have been getting. What the heck are filter tables?
Ricardo Eloy
Hum... have you tried turning that kallwall-opc.jpg map off and see what happens? I ain't no expert on this, but since the message says something about memory allocation, maybe there's something wrong with that map (resolution too high, maybe?). Just guessing. Tim Saunders
Yeah, it just switches to a different bitmap. The first time I got the error it was for a bitmap on a lowpolygon car. I deleted the car then I got the error on a different bitmap, and so on.
Ricardo Eloy
Ok... these maps are on the intranet, right? Maybe that could be causing it (again, just guessing). I would copy them to a local folder and see what happens (again).
lambros
sometimes I have solved similar problems by switching to vray frame buffer.
Ricardo Eloy
That solves this problem sometimes because VRay's VFB requires less memory. But this is not the case, since Tim is using it already.
thatch
Try turning off 'filter maps' in your vray global switches.
