project base door schedule

I'm using adt2007. How do you tell the schedule, to not include doors, if your schedule is scanning xrefs? The doors I don't want are toilet partition doors. Even if I take off all the property set def for that door it still shows up as "????"

Also If I have it scan the xrefs then it also puts a RA in front of the door number. If I use the schedule external file link, under properties, it gets rid of the RA but only lets you reference one drawing.

The only way I been able to get the door schedule to work properly is to have it in the base drawing. If this is the only way to exclude doors, then having project base tags is useless. But then again who has all their doors for a multistory building in one drawing.
