RyanSpaulding
Hey guys, A long time ago I purchased Max 6 training from Lynda.Com but never completed it. Now we have Max 8 and I'm trying to get back into 3DSMax but have no training. Now, I wont be creating anything in Max. It'll basically be DWGLinked stuff so I need to know how to set up cameras, lights, apply materials, ect. Has much changed in these deparments since v6? I'm thinking about using my old training... Koper
max principals have stayed the same, camera, lights, action... oh, i mean materials, and the way you use them have not changed much. so you'll be able to do the training you have of max 6 with max 8, there will be some minor changes or additions that you will notice
Brian Smith
A fundamental level class for 6 and 8 would be nearly identical. Even at an intermediate level little has changed.
