But with standard 3D Studio Max does it just use what ram you have on the system or do you have tell it how much ram you have on the system? Verma Posted November 10, 2006 Share Posted November 10, 2006 Max doesn't give you the option to define how much RAM you want to assign to it. The RAM use will depend on what it requires for different situations. With Max 9 64Bit version, you can use lots and lots of RAM. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

martincg Posted November 10, 2006 Share Posted November 10, 2006 try choose in viewport bounding boxes view, save scene, restart max and render. /some part of memory is for material editor/textures,etc../ ,viewport ,background / or try export to .bat file in batch render, close max and render it directly from .bat file, sometimes it helps. /of course turn of memory frame buffer and render only to file Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
