A big house

Recommended Posts

This is actually a finished project, but even with the client pretty happy with the result, i am not, and i want to improve it for personal reference. So... any helpful/creative comments are welcome. For starters, what to do when the grass around the object is bleeding too much green, opacity mapped trees... enviroment...

eeeek!

/me puts on sun glasses ;)

thats an ok model, but the lighting and texturing need immediate work. the lighting is way over-bright and too monochromic, and the colours and textures need varying up. make the white stone more defined, not just pure clean bright white.

What software did you use ?... It seems you did not use gi, did you ?

The model is good.. I find the whithe it too whithe ..

Perhaps you can give some transparency to the windows.. even if the interiors are not detailed...But my words are not objective, because i don't like the architecture....But anyway, you can do wonderful things whith a model like that...

improve textures and lights...

Good Luck :D

if you are using the 3d max or the viz there got somthing that call radiosity override inside material menu that can turn down your color bleeding for your grass! ;)

are you using the RPC for the trees or just using the opacity maping for it? :???:

Umm actually it has GI, and its rendered with Vray, but i can't seem to figure out how to change color bleeding, i know max and lighscape have color bleeding param.

Any suggestions on how to make the white stone/wall material more defined? what kind of texture should be used, don't know, maybe some bump or something?

What could be done in photoshop with this image, since im not very good at post production...
