hrvojezg00
I`m doing some vray 1.5 shots and I wonder one thing. Is there a way to put a background image with vray sun/sky setup cause seems I need to have vraysky background in the enviroment background? http://img452.imageshack.us/my.php?image=petr2vf3.jpg http://img523.imageshack.us/my.php?image=petr9qy6.jpg
ShaunDon
Nice renders, buddy. I like the second angle a lot. As far as a background image, as long as you put the VRaySky in the override map slot under the VRay Environment settings, you can use whatever image you want in the Max environment. As far as VRay is concerned it will only see the VRaySky when it's calculating the lighting. Shaun

kippu
i personally use photoshop.... save it as a tga and put the background in its layer... easier for me to adjust the levels
hrvojezg00
since I`m a total noob at photoshop would you care to explain how to do that, or where can I find some tutorials about it?
manta
I've always had a problem with TIFF's and photoshop, one would expect that when you open it up in photoshop, it would come in with a transparent background, but they don't, so I use PNG's 24bit with alpha channel checked, when you open them up, they have a transparent background, so you just put your sky or whatever behind it...
