hrvojezg00
do you use vray sun/sky when doing interior in rc1/2/3?
kippu
not me... i havenot had time to test it out yet ...plus there are too many variables to work with when doing them.... so i am sticking to the old way of doing it
BrianKitts
I'm starting to get my head wrapped around it enough to use it, and I like it. It's pretty much the same once you accept the fact that the sun and sky get left at defualt values (reduces variables) and the camera is the only thing you tweak. The amount of secondary light bounces that you can draw into a space is really great. Sure you can pull this off with a standard cam and an HDRI, but it seems like I get faster render times with the vray sky (I say "seems" cause I haven't tested it) and it just has given me pretty good results lately, so I'm definately a fan. my image from this post is an interior with the physical cam and vray sun/sky....... http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/20375-convention-hall-atrium.html?highlight=convention
