Darkpaul
Hi guys, I need your help to do something particular.. I'm in lighting design and I've been workin for years with the legendary lightscape... now, 'cause I need also videos with dynamic and changing colours lights, the only solution seems to be to pass to 3ds max... I have a question.. if you can look at these pictures you will see geometrical elements attached to the ceiling (Barrisol false lighting ceilings). I need them to seem turned on... for example with some halo effect (as for example the one used for the tubes...but it seems not working with large surfaces...) do you have some suggestion please??? thanx a lot. Tyorl
How about postproccessing? Just save it to file and in Photoshop use DiffuseGlow filter. U may also try to use LensEffect Glow.
birbidouille
open your image in photoshop, duplicate the background layer. In the duplicated layer, delete everything except your ceiling lights and apply a gaussian blur (5~10). this will do the trick. Here is the result:

Hazdaz
Just apply a Glow Effect in MAX. Renderings out fairly quick (yet unfortunately you won't be able to see it in the viewport) and even reflects.
