ZFact
Quicky... How do ye'all make shop signage glow as if it were lit up in postworks photoshop?
Tim Saunders
With a vray light material or a slef-illuminated material. You ma or may not be using the programs I use though. If you are, it's easy to make a self-illuminated pass with the render elements. Then, if you decide you want to add more glow, you can take that self-illumination pass in photoshop, drag it onto your base render, and change the layer blending mode to screen (I think). Give it just a tad bit of gaussian blur.
STRAT
or if you use c4d, use the gi recieve/emit options together with some glow.
Ernest Burden III
or if you use c4d, use the gi recieve/emit options together with some glow. Which also works nicely in fr2
Tommy L
Quick bodge is to use the render effects dialogue (Glow) in the environment/effects panel in max. Quick n easy, no rendertime problems, but it dont look great unless tweaked for a while...
