Posibility to mark Threads as answered

I have an idea which isn`t original but is extremely helpful.

I like on Adobe`s forum that you can mark Threads as answered with a specific icon, so when a problem is solved everybody will know.

trouble is, not only do these forums contain very varied topics (not just specific 1 answer required questions) but allot of people will pipe up with their version of the answer, which, might also be correct.

 

so you end up with running threads with maybe 10 or so different correct answers to problems. and these threads will be left open for future contributions and discussion.

it aint an open and closed case. your solution is just to keep checking back
