illyrianeye
I always had this problem with radiosity and chrome metal: Chrome doesnt look like chrome anymore when i use radiosity. What is the way around this? If i exclude it from radiosity, i get just a black rendering of the metal.

As is, its not a raytrace material. It's just a standard material with a reflection map and blur. If I rended in scanline its fine, but when used with radiosity,it looses its shine/metallic look to it.

womble
I think posting screenshots of what the problem is will probably help people advise you. One of the scanline material, one of the effect under vray, one of your material settings etc...

quizzy
well first of all that map looks disabled. second what you should do if you are using a IES sun is to go to the radiosity dialog and you'll find physical scale, put that at the value of your sun. This will resolve your reflections.. so if your sun says 80000 (which is standard) then set your physical scale at 80000.... and render...
