HomeBrewTJ
I'd like to see if anyone here wouldn't mind checking out and reviewing my online portfolio. I'm a senior at Purdue University and will be graduating this year with a degree in Computer Graphics Technology specializing in Construction Graphics, Programming, and Virtual Reality. As part of my senior design class, we are required to have industry professionals review our portfolio and resume. My site is http://www.kennyredman.com My senior project is http://www.virtubuild.org Thanks a lot, Kenny
aaron-cds
I just have a couple of comments. I think your first portfolio image and the last two are the most uninteresting. You've got much cooler work in the middle. I think it's better to lead with the more eye-catching work. The construction drawings of the house are not worth keeping in your portfolio unless you're trying to get drafting work. The two graphic illustrations that copy well-known beer logos should probably have credits next to them recognizing the beer companies. In the about section - now I love the Beastie Boys as much as the next guy, but "Skills to Pay the Bills" is unprofessional. Keep it clean and simple. Just put "skills" or add "Work History is no longer a mystery" and "Associations in the nations". Aside from some good graphic illustrations, I thought it was good to show the process of making the cd covers. That was interesting.
