rafaelsrocha
hey all, sorry if this is off-topic. i found this image in the maxwel gallery so i assumed to ask ask the maxwell users... does anyone have any idea who the designer of this couch is? is it even a reality or simply a 3d model of someones idea? just for my own sake, i like the simplicity of the design. cheers, rafael

mohinder
It's half of a bathtub. Then you need to invest in a new bathroom suite. Seriously.
bytor
I had forgotten about this thread until I was looking for something in this section recently, and the visual connection stuck in my head. I have been doing some furniture modeling in sketchup lately - and the producer of this piece is one of the company's that I really like. This piece is the sofa from a series called Zak which is produced by Zanotta - an Italian furniture (http://www.zanotta.it) manufacturer that has a lot of clean lined designs. The designers are Ludovica & Roberto Palomba. They have cadd files, which I used as a reference for my own model of the armchair version - of which a rendering is attached.
