hello peers

i have been asked to model and create textures for a furniture company

i have already modeled and the majority of the models need to be textured in wood, i've no problem with that, but they also require some table tops in corian like material like the one shown in this site: www.sheridan-uk.com/wood/upstands.html

can anyone please guide me towards a good procedural material, im new to this and i dont know if to use "noise", "spreckle" or "cellular", please help i've been hours on this and cannot figure it out

i am using the greenish/blue as a base, but in my attempts i can only get either white or dark "dots", but the material shown has both withe and dark

thank you

Actually procedural materials sound like a perfect texture to use for Corian - espesially since essentially it is a procedural material in real life. Sure you could use a bitmap, but if you mess around with the settings and get somethign good, I see no good reason not to use a procedural material.
