SEIF
a question just stepped by...if i want to make the output product in a NPR form..is it worthy to adjust options in Lightscape for best results?..means taking alot of time for the process to finish... Ernest Burden III
if i want to make the output product in a NPR form..is it worthy to adjust options in Lightscape for best results? Not really. I use LS as the base for my NPR work, but I start with fairly standard images.

Ernest Burden III
u didn't comment on the image posted, dont u have any comments to improve it?.. I'm not sure what you are trying to do. NPR for the sake of NPR isn't any better than anything else. What sort of building is that? It would be good to give some clues that would humanize a picture. The two blues are not friends, and the red, while a welcome touch, get covered too much by the heavy darks. I like the camera angle, but since it removes a sense of contact with the regular world you would want to give it some connections--a bit of tree, signage, flags, hints of what's in the windows. Overall the image is too even. To me, NPR is about some random variation and about choosing some aspects of a picture to get attention while reducing the attention to others through lower contrast, detail. The cloud placement is perfect.
