hrvojezg00
what do you do when you run out of material slots?6x6
Claudio Branch
Within the Material Editor, use the button with the "X" symbol (4th from the left directlly beneath the material slots). This button will bring up a dialogue box that will allow you to clear the slot with out affecting your scene. If you need that material back, you can click on the "eyedropper" symbol and then the object (with the material you want) and it will be reloaded into that slot. BrianKitts
on the file menu in the material editor select UTILITY->Reset Material Editor Slots you'll get a clean palette. and no you don't lose the materials as long as they are assigned to any object in the scene you can always pull them back into the editor. Neelu
you can go to Get Material and then click on Standard(or whatever material) if you Browse from New selected. And you can get any material in y our scene by clicking on Get Material and then make sure you browse from scene and click on the material name or icon.
