wilky9
I bought a 1Gb stick of memory for my wife's laptop, and on the NewEgg website it is listed as PC4200. I just saw a reviewer say that it is actually PC4300, and if you open the pixelated image they have of the packaging, sure enough it says PC4300. My question is: "will this still work in her computer?" It's already shipped, so NewEgg might have some 'splaining to do. AJLynn
That would depend on your particular computer, but usually higher spec memory than you need will work. And Newegg has a pretty forgiving return policy. (I've ordered the wrong memory, saw that it was wrong when I received it, called them and said "I screwed up and ordered the wrong memory. I opened it but I didn't install it," and they took it back, no problem - though I had to pay for shipping. If this is the wrong stuff, and it was their mistake, ask them to pay for shipping.)
