panorama with vray

I´m trying to make a pano 360 of an interior, with vray 1.5 RC3 and max 9. I check the camara type to spherical , and override FOV to 360 degrees. I think thats the way. But when i render i get the same image of the Physical camera i have in the render-viewport-setting.

If i set this last setting to "perspective" i get the correct panorama, but it is burned, because i used the camera settings to iluminate the scene.

Am i doing something wrong?

I had to do a panorama for a client before - I rendered regular frames from VRAY (I rotated the camera 20 degrees for each render) and then used a free app I found on the net to stitch the images back together. I cant for the life of me remember what the name of the software was, but there are tons of packages available out there. I then just saved out a .JPG of the panorama, and gave it to the web department (I have no flash skills to speak of :p )

Thanks for the info. I believe I'm going to try the same thing. I've been trying to use the VRay panoramic exportor with no success but I believe I can do it the way you are suggesting. I really don't have any Flash skills to speak of either and that's where this will be going when I'm through with it. Thank ya much!! :D
