Cookiepus
Can someone tell me how to disable the "would you like to autoload last scene". i can't find it anywhere in the preferences. It now runs twice -even when i choose "no" I have my "maxstart" scene just the way i like it - thats all i want to see! regards Cookie

Cookiepus
Never seen it? Really i thought it was default. Every time i start max (ver8) it comes up "would you like to load most recent file?" then it starts to get messy with my system units. I just want it to stop asking damn it! *&^&*%

Chris Johnson
I have never seen source code asking such a question in any of the scripts that ship with 3dsmax. Nor have I ever experienced such a query box. I'm positive you have some plugin that responsible for this query box. It is not coming from Autodesk. Chris J. Koper
falls under the catagory - 'weird things my pc do by itself' also have never seen this, definately something in the 3dsmax.ini that calls up this unwanted behavior. you can either delete the ini file and open max up again, it will create another ini file automatically, or you can go to your plugin manager and periodically switch off plugins and restart max to see which plugin does this. Cookiepus
Thanks Guys I assumed everybody's Max did it. I'll give those suggestions a try.
Cookiepus
Aha! It was a JJTools script thingy in my startup scripts. 'Tis Gone! Much Obliged....
lecameleon
Yeah, the rest of the replies were wonderful too I use this script regularly.. but I guess it can get to be a pain.. a real pain in fact.. and oddly, it really slowed Max start time.. it would take quite a while to lead to that message >> "Autoload.. blah blah"... so I guess people are better off not having this one
