steven martin
First Image of Part Residential, Part Retail Development. I only used one light source, so render took approx 45mins on PIV 2.4 with 1gig ram in Autodesk Viz 4 Then simply stuck into Photograph using photoshop. The only other things that were added in photoshop are a couple of people(the one on the left, and the one on the right), so job was very quick to complete http://www.cgarchitect.com/forum/filepush.asp?file=Test001a.jpg

bigcahunak
Hi, Very nice looking image. The stone texture on the wall looks tiled. It is very evident that its a floor and a half hight map, multiplied one on top of the other. I suggest to work on the texture in PS to make it less noticeable. Looks like the inserted image is not 100% in the same perspective as the original background. Your eye level in the render is a little higher... but you can also "fix" it in PS, but it would be better to go back and do it in VIZ since you already need to go there for the wall texture... The wall on the right looks too lit comparing to the lighting in the background image. Last, Reflections on the glass doesn't match the street situation. Thats it for now. Great work., nevertheless. Looking forward for updates. Good luck. BTW: watermark your work cause its good enough to be stolen...
jucaro
Nice indeed! How did you accomplish your glass? Maybe its time for another UNCHALLENGE about architectural glass materials
