craig.t
Hi All, I am pretty new to max and am currently just playing around with applying material etc, trying to work out how things work and have stumbled across this problem that i am sure is so simple to fixing but i haven't got a clue. The building is modelled in sketch and exported as a 3ds. opened up and materials applied in max the then just hit render. The materials seem to be having issues on the corners. Many thanks in advance Craig
Craig Ramsay
It's to do with you using V-ray displacement. You need to check the 'Keep continuity' box in the displacement parameters to solve your edge problem.

manta
If you can't find that check box, try setting the "SHIFT" to the opposite of the "AMOUNT" values, that is, if the "AMOUNT" is set to 1, the set the "SHIFT" to -
