wilky9
I guess it depends on wether you want the auto-routing to be done on your computer (before the trip) or on the GPS itself. I've been using Mapsource Metroguide for several years now, and I find it to be pretty good at getting me from A -> B. I am using a Garmin eTrex Legend C. I tried letting the GPS auto-route for me the other day, and while I think I would have eventually made it to my destination, I'm glad I had the route planned out on paper. But that's not really the intended purpose of the eTrex line, and not what I bought it to do. Anyway, 154 Euros for MetroGuide Aus. seems like a lot to me, let alone 463 Euros for City Navigator. There are many alternative out there that can get the job done for less money, and some are even FREE. Google Maps for one is pretty good at guiding you from place to place, and there is software that can take these routes and put them on your GPS. I've started playing with MapItPronto to plan some bike/hike routes. Don't know how well it will work, but we'll see.
