nisus
Hi all, I'm rendering an interior scene, looking out of a window over the seaside in the late afternoon. I've done the lighting setup (MR SS*) with GI and FG with additional color correction (using the exposure control). When I render the scene on my workstation, everything looks ok. Sending the file over the network, gives me a smooth bright red cast in the whole interior. Does anyone has a clue how to prevent this? btw, I've also rendered an animated sunset. Per frame I've got a nice bright red, tangy orange, and harsh green cast. Of course I don't want this... Any ideas? rgds, nisus *MR SS: MR Sun + MR Sky
John Dollus
Just replying to let you know that I have not run into this at all when doing animated sunsets. Can you reproduce the problem on a newly created scene?
nisus
Tnx for your honest answer. I do not have the time to try it in other scenes, but I did not came across it in other jobs I did using the same methodology... Justin Hunt
Are you using fast interperlation glossies? or could the glass colour be affecting it? What happens if you render it on one of the render nodes? JHV
nisus
Well tnx Justin... there is a possibility I have some SSS in there (wax candles)... don't remember very well, and don't have the time to check it out now, but I'm working on another scene with candles, so maybe I'll hit it again. Will keep you posted ,) rgds, nisus
Justin Hunt
you'r quick, which version of my post did you read? The first one with the SSS remark or the edit? After I posted I reread your post and only then saw the foot note. Both are valid though JHV
nisus
héhé, I've read the SSS-comment... which I think is a good remark... strange for someone who is hardly on CGA anymore that i would read posts 'quick'... my average nowadays should be as 'at least a fortweek'... than again... we got automated mail... although that arrives NOT on my workstation... well... call it luck... ;-) rgds, nisus
