IUI Design
Hi everyone, Here a building I'm working on. I've been using this as a learning curve to play with lighting, materials etc. I'm using 3DS Max 8 (scan-line rendering). Can anyone tell me how to get reflections of buildings/trees/cars in the glass windows without having to put 3d models in ??? Any advice appreciated, thanks. John Dollus
for the reflections, I would suggest Photoshop. Alternatively, You could create an environment bitmap of the reflection and use it as an environment texture map in the reflection slot or in the environment section and add raytraced reflection to the glass but it would be quite tricky to get it to look correct with a single pass render. IUI Design
Okay then................ I've done that and got reflection on the windows (mirror effect). How do I now turn it down (ie. I'd like to turn the effect down similar to turning down the opacity of a material to about 50%) Can't seem to find the OPACITY button !!!! Help!
