Guest arivas
I'm just a hobbyist thinking about getting a masters in architecture (no, I don't even have an undergrad in arch). This is my first render that's come out decent. The windows look a little strange because there is a white plane and a white box outside of the room that match the color of the sills. Can anyone help me fix the glow along the far corners? **As I edit this I realize in retrospect that this does not belong in "Finished Work" and I'm not able to move it. Sorry. STRAT
it looks ok for a starter, but as with 99% of wip's it's the lighting which needs serious attention. what rendering app was this? Viz 4? FR? that illumination in the corner is the result of a material reflecting off it's self in the radiosity term of the word. the diffuse depth or the bleed saturation level is too high (sorry, i'm not up on viz 4 / FR). Also, there should only be one main light in that scene (the sun light). any omnis in the room should be removed, they not needed. The AA rate obviously needs to be upped, and you know about the sky/windows. keep working on this scene, i'd like to see it developed. Ricardo Eloy
Good for a starter. Try increasing the sampling of the radiosity solution, it will make thos odd spots go away... By the way, I suggest you start your studies with lightning techniques. It's the soul of good renderings. rgds Rick
