richmondlu
Hello all, Well i need to ask all of you for some words of wisdom. I have to give a presentation to a room full of sales associates at our firm. I need to give them some reason that they should go out and bid on jobs to get the ball rolling on doing 3d in our firm. I have a presentation set up with walkthroughs and images but they are going to want to hear why they should do this in the field of architecture. We are based in Milwaukee WI which is about 15 years behind the times and me and our company owners want to get this firm caught up but how do we relay that to ours sales people. So i was wondering if any of you have read a good article or have any good words to say about the growth of 3d vis in architecture and just the use of 3d in marketing in general. What are the benifits to the client and the user interaction to our renderings. If we just tell them you will make alot of money in commision that might work too. But i just wanted to hear what you guys would say if you had to give this presentation. Thanks for your time to all that reply if any,

Brian Cassil
Out of curiousity, how large is your firm and how many 'sales people' do you have? We have a marketing staff but I've never heard of a sales staff in an architectural firm. How do they go about selling archtiectural services? richmondlu
we have about 150 in office and about 100 in field. We are a design, build, furnish, company. We do everything from rip down walls to put in furniture after we have built it. And then the sales people we have about 20 of them. They will go out and bid on architecutal rendering jobs. Which lead into selling architectual, interior design, then finally building and furnishing it. So its pretty cool i am the start of a big process all done in house. So i get to see the start to finish processes. I also do CD's in the architectual department.
