cakewalkr7
I've seen some awesome interior shots where through the windows you can see the yard, trees and sky. I know that for skies, a panaramic sky image mapped to the inside of a cylinder is how that's accomplished, but is the yard the same thing or are the yard shots an image mapped to a plane parallel with the window? And, does anyone know of good tutorials on creating my own panormic images? Do I need anything more than my digital camera and photoshop? Thanks. kippu
i usually put the background images in the environment slot of max and tweak it.... just any digital image or any photo will do fine
ipxstudios
I sometimes render my windows black then place the environment map in photoshop so you can adjust the position, lighting and brightness
mcorrea
When you render the background in black do you set the reflections in ps also? thanks.
ipxstudios
usually works well with an exterior shot where you are creating reflections from behind the camera. Interiors - you render a separate pass with black environment and tweak in PS.
