guitarmunkee
Whats up people. Started a new scene for my portfolio. I'm using max 8 and vray 1.5. It's my first scene using vray sun. Its not the final light setup so comments would help. Plus I have to material this thing and build the background. heres the reference pic:

ipxstudios
nice start - the umbrella looks small and the eye level is a little low. Let us have a look at it when you are done.
Poll
Good modelling!! In your ref. picture, there are much smaller stones on the ground that in your model. I think it's hard to make natural stones look realistic when they are that large. Not gonna model the grass placemat? The shadow is a little to dark i think. But it depends on the materialisation. Finding a proper background for this image will do a lot of magic!
