potato prints

Well, not too busy at work, so me and some colleagues were discussing whether it would be possible to do a whole architecural presentation using vegetable prints (dipping sliced veg into paint and stamping its profile onto the paper). So far:

1 broccoli has comeup trumps for trees. smaller limbs of broccoli can be used to provide "perspective"

2 cauliflower as a broccoli replacement, though definately a 'poor man's broccoli', or an "RPC vegetable". But it keeps better, for the fiscally, minded a wise choice .

3 Mushrooms sliced through the head could be utilized for trees in plan. The gills (yes, mushroom anatomy is one of our specialities) would make a splendid branch pattern.

4 Mullions were always going to be tricky, but we plumped for the 'crinkle-cut carrot stamp', nothing in the vegetable world is binary, so these are the most regular thing we could find.

5 Hatch......tricky this, we think cabbage, the bubbly leaved kind; utilizing whole leaves which are cut into the correct shape. Someone mentioned soil, but i dont think this qualifies as a vegetable.

Im sure this will prove to be a rich vein of study, but I can only devote so much of my time to it until it becomes a profitable venture. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom.

Strat,

here is news from our ground-breaking studio. There is a preview of our car library (much better than Dosch), a photo of the new consultant/training lady we got in at great expense and a render done with PotatoRayWorks_release1.0

I think this will revolutionize the way we look at rendering.
