1miguel
hi, I am texturing a wall with a seamless texture from Coronado stone (appalachian field stone), but when i tile it, to get it to an approximate real world size i do not get any seams, but i do get an annoying pattern. I know i can use a dirt map to mask some of the pattern, but i want to keep the wall looking clean because it will be a new wall. any advice on how to get rid of the pattern or make it less noticable. p.s here is a pic of my problem

Frosty
a large scaled noise pattern in the diffuse channel should help. I would blend it in fusion with the image map.
jackb602
If you have the DiTools plugin, the DySynTex shader can take your source image and create a non-tiling texture from it. Here's a tutorial that explains it: http://www.c4dportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=610 Jack
