jophus14
Here is a WIP that I'm working on and as you can see, I'm getting small areas of light my floor. The floor is not reflective so where are the lights coming from? I don't think it's the uplight hitting the gold ceiling and reflecting back down. Is it an anti-aliasing problem? Please help me out, thanks.
kippu
theres some bad material in that scene ... more specifically a raytrace map in one of those materials i think
jophus14
I converted all materials to Vray Material. I hope that works. Thanks for the suggestion. EDIT: I found some leaks in my ceiling geometry. I am about to re-render my scene and hopefully that will take care if the lighting issue. Thanks. jophus14
Thanks Kippu. The file is in my computer at work and I want to try one more possible solution. If all else fails, I would appreciate your help.
Thablanch
Some similar bugs can happen in exteriors when using really poor quality HDR files, but I do not think you are using HDR in there, if yes, that could be the problem.
jophus14
I'm using an HDR image for my reflections, it's set at only 0.3. I will switch up my HDRI and see what happens. Thanks.
