shikodesign2000
Hi, When I try to fix antialiasing problem, I've been told that I can make high resolution image first then I scale it down. My question is: What's the best way for doing this? Thanks, Sherif Massoud http://www.3dshore.com
BrianKitts
photoshop, GIMP....etc.... pretty much your image editor of choice.
ipxstudios
Are you using v-ray - if so can you fix the problem in the rendering process adjusting the image sampler?
AJLynn
I wonder whether the scaling approach makes sense anymore. Say you want a 1000x1000 image, so you render at 2000x2000 then use Photoshop to scale down in Bicubic mode. This is equivalent to manually supersampling at 1x1, so why not let your renderer supersample for you? They're good at it these days, they've got more than one filtering option and the better ones have adaptive methods that only supersample where they need to.
