amazing entourage

hi everyone

 

Don't know whether this is the right place to post it or not. but i thought so

 

i saw some amazing renderings in a book called " CHINESE BEST COLLECTION"

 

i was really fascinated by the entourage they use . i mean they fit in the image so well. like people engaged in activities rather than just standing or

walking

 

 

can someone help me find these libraries. i mean which collection they belong to

Chow, it looks like these are just a private collection of people photgraphed in situ.

 

Its been talked about a few times on various threads...RPC etc are handy, but are becoming very over used and in my opinion they arent very natural. Get hold of a decent camera and spend an afternoon in your nearest town candidly photgraphing passers-by...you'll be pleased with the results

We usually took photos of people ourselves to fit the scene. You can do the same with a decent digicam, then crop in photoshop.

 

Be careful with privacy act when taking the pictures, in some places it is considered offensive to take picture of people in public, better check with your country's privacy act or blur the faces. If it's ok then just fire away.

 

IMO, the render you show need more work in colour matching / shadow the photo to the render. Too much photoshop in the foreground for my liking.

 

I always thought all Chinese renders are of CrystalCG / BHAA quality, guess we have a chance anyway.

i didn't understand craystal Cg/ BHAA quality. are these companies doing cg works in CHINA.

 

anyway i have seen these images in local renders here also . especially the first and last image . i.e people sitting on a brakfast table and in the 3rd image person holding the kite and a kid and another person sitting on the ground . so i think this is some library for sure

the entourage used on these firm's renders are more finely tuned.

 

The one taken from the book has some mismatch in colour / ambient, making it seems like it doesn't blend with the background.

 

If you have seen it somewhere else, the pics might come from Photodisc or other Stock Photo. You can search on google for Photodisc or Stock Photography. They have lots of images for advertising purposes. You can buy per image or in a CD set, depends on your needs.
