anindia Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 dear friends, i have used jpg sky images at background of a little animation( in max) but the problem i am getting,after rendering with my camera movement it is not matching with the scenes. it is giving a static feel in the background. how can i solve this problem? please give me some suggestions. _anindia Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
eksg Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 If you just use an image on your environment map,definitely it wont move and you'll get a static background.you can try applying a movie file on the environment map,or use a sphere to serve as your background,rotating it slightly while having your animation.in that way,you'll get moving background.there's also an article in the tutorials from this site,just havent read it yet,just had a glance after i downloaded it,and it seems that they discuss something about your inquiry.hope i helped you in some ways.
