rabea
Try to change the secondary bounce method … If you have a free space on your hard disk try make it a virtual memory .
John Dollus
This isn't a Max memory error, it's a vray memory error. You are probably going to have to reduce some render complexity to render this without adding more RAM to your system. You may want to investigate the Raycaster params under the Vray:System rollout. These settings affect how Vray breaks up your scene with regards to memory. The leaf size and tree depth are tied together. MR displays the scene limits for these in an information window so you can switch to MR, open the MR message window and look through it to find the information (appears when you render the scene) and then switch back to Vray and plugin the values. Alternatively, you can start cutting your scene down by making sure the trees have 'generate gi' off as a starting point.
Horhe
If you have a vray displacement mod on a larger plane or area (such as grass) im sure for 99,9% thats whats causing the memory error. Try to swich off the displacement and then render again. Otherwise as John said, its because of heavy meshes in your scene. Try to replace those with Vray proxies (the trees for example). That should sort things out.
Andrew1
Hey, You can also try changing your vray memory handling to dynamic and assign like 6 gigs or something, - experiment, I had issues with large quanity of objects and that did. Hope it helps , cheers
