lara
Hello everyone, does anybody know the settings for a good plexiglass material?
sterealkey
Are you using Vray? Plexiglass? Excuse my stupidity, but is this like frosted glass?
DavidR
sterealkey: Plexiglas is like Lucite. Lara, tell us more about the material you want as well as your 3d app and renderer. Are you useing Max/Vray? C4D? Rhino/Maxwell? We have no idea what to tell you, except that the ior is ~1.3.

Posting this in a 3dsmax forum would make me think they're using max;).
lara
Hi again I am using 3dsmax (default renderer) and i want to make 3d plexiglass letters for a sign for a shop. I need the settings for an exterior day as well as a night scene. Please note that the colour of plexiglass is RED (aouch!) THANX
