SEIF
This is the latest work we are working on right now..a Cafe' that is at the basment, and this the entrance at the street level. The problem is the image has no LIFE in it if u can get what i mean..what can be done to improve it? Cheers, Mohammed
Arnel
Put a descriptive title of the cofeeshop otherwise people may think it is the staircase going to the subway station. You might add some glasses with neon lights also to attract attention just my 2 cents. Regards
SEIF
Well i can't change in the design Arnel..c..it isn't mine. The bars are composed of metal & stainless steel, lights come from the inner side facing the srairs. Any other suggestions?? Cheers, Mohammed
IC
Perhaps you could pull the camera back a little to get some more detail on the white wall. It just kind of fades away like a washed out sky (the wall does also look a bit bright/blown out.) I really like the red light under the canopy, though. David Barbarash
I realize you say the design can't change, but isn't a handrail necessary here on the building wall? That could add a little more life to the entrance itself. Maybe even a menu or coming attractions poster somewhere? I also agree about pulling the camera out a bit, possibly allow you to add some people walking by and/or some cars. The back building texture looks very well done and I like the red underlighting as well. I wonder how it would look at night? Any chance of a night scene? Maybe some old Bogart looking misty image with volumetric lights.... cool... David Barbarash
Victor Erthal
Make it a night shot. It will ad more drama to the image and the white wall less plain.
Pavel Roder
Yup, i agree with Victor, make it a nightshot! Maybe replacing those computer-generated leafs with real photos should help. Also adding a few blurred people would be nice
Tiny Piney
You know there is a new strip club in NY called Score the design kind of looks like one too. As for the rendering the bump map on the top part looks too large.
SEIF
Thanks guys for all the comments..your openions are great.. David..adding a handrail is an excellent suggestion, thanks alot.. Concerning the night shot maybe i can manage to do one..about the camera i guess is difficult to pull it alittle back, coz thats a building facade..which means that we need to model it and unfortunatly we dont have much time :angenone: Thank u all for comments,i'll keep u updated. ciberarte
Try a shot at sunset time (orange-yellow warm light), with more ligth front the inside (cool light white-blue. Add some reflection at metal stuff, work a little bit more in the map of tiles of the floor the space between the tiles could have a diferent color lighter, the move of the camera looking for some context and the use of some libraries (people moving blury towards the entrance)would be ok. What material is the name made of? give some strong to the name (light, material, effect whatever that makes it important, the final client will apreciate that). . . .
