Alfredo Tapia
Guys, Just to know your opinion. Actually it is a finished work, because no further work will be added due to an extremely low budget. It is a very small project, though I like the fact it was done in 6 hs., including designing, modeling an rendering time. It was modeled in Autocad, textured in Viz4 and lit in Lightscape, which still surprises me every time a use it. Anyway, I like it and I would like to hear some opinions. CHE
Welcome aboard Alfredo, is nice to see CGA work from Argentina. I really liked the design and the images. The only think that I can point out is that there are some light leaks. I assume that you are modeling with 3dfaces. Make sure all your vertices match. Maybe you should post some stats so that the Lightscape gurus can make some helpful comments about your images. Saludos.
Alfredo Tapia
Well, It’s a neo-hippie-fashion-clothes store so the kitsch look goes very well for it......IMHO. Here are the stats….Any advice? Hey CHE, Regards. How long since you left Argentina? Thanks for the comments. Alfredo
nuno
hi alfredo, try this parameters i think for this particular case the indirect light should be more refine than the direct. hope it helps Best to You, nuno
Alfredo Tapia
Thanks Nuno, I'll give it a try. Regards
Alfredo Tapia
Nisus I tried the new stats and some things got better but the leaks are still there. I’m sure it’s due to some rather slender triangles on the wall-mesh on the right of the scene. I’ll take it into account in my next model. Thanks for your help. Regards. bigcahunak
Very nice work. The only light leak I see here is above the wall on the right (where the stairs begin). Check your geometry and see that the ceiling and wall planes meet in the same point. If thats ok then just try increasing mesh resolution. BTW: CHE is a former Hugo Sanchez... not Batistuta...
