asifsiddiqui
Hi, This is the WIP of the exterior of a plaza, being portrayed at the time just after sunset. Rendered using Default Scanline renderer with shadow mapped lights. C&C are welcome. Regards,
kippu
looks fine...maybe you can do some induce some type of randomness in the lights ...turn some off and make it look natural
arkiedmund
very nice indeed..yeah..maybe you can turn off some of the lights, to give it a more natural feel.... keep it up..!!
Ricardo Eloy
Nice pic, Asif! Two things you could do that, imho, would make it even better: - some cars on the street, some movement - use the camera correction modifier to get rid of parallax You could also chop the sidewalk on the bottom of the pic off, since it doesn't add anything to the overall look, but that's personal. alikashan
some foreground street elements along with cars and may be a couple of people will add to the over all composition imho. nice work keep going.
ariel calado
The Street light at the right side being glowed seems to distract, why not try adjusting its intensity
asifsiddiqui
Hi all, Please accept my gratitude for your kind feedback. This will be a sequence in which the camera fly from the level currently showed in the post to the elevation where the environment is fully visible. It will have Cars, Trees, People etc. cosmetics added later. Will incorporate all your comments while finalising the scene and will post the update soon. Regards and many thanks,
Devin Johnston
Over the entire image is to dark, I can't make out any details on the top of the building. I would bring up the over all light levels so that you can see the most of the building. You also have some very bright street lights and they are washing out your street level, tone them down by at least half.

missoni
I can't just get it, why u r using default scanline renderer for architecture, when there's vray? Vray is much more optimized to use with architecture!.. Vray would give a much better result, to be honest, thou your result is also pretty nice
asifsiddiqui
Thanks missoni for your kind words. There is no specific reason for not using VRay, just that the requirement is just fulfilled using scanline. Here is the update which is actually a frame from a complete sequence. Regards and thanks to all.
