Scott Baumberger
Hello - This is my first WIP posting. I have been working on a condo tower idea for a while, and I've tried out a couple new rendering techniques for this project. I'd really appreciate any comments on these images as well as the design of the tower itself. Thanks in advance!
Scott Baumberger
I guess I should mention the software(s) used: All modeling was done in AutoCAD - some of the entourage is 3rd party models, and the renderings are raw Vue d'Esprit. The lighting / atmosphere is all created within Vue. To finish them up, I would expect to add more entourage in Photoshop as well as come color correction. That's all for now - thanks! Sawyer
Scott, I like the daylight not the night. I think you need to crop the image removing at least the bottom 1/3. Too much focusless space. I am not too sure on tall building design but I think equal emphasis needs to be placed on the human scale (ground level) as Giant in the sky scale. I can't tell if anything is going on don on the ground. I hope that helps
bigcahunak
Hi Scott, I agree with sawyer about cropping the bottom part of thr image, not to mention the tree on the far right stands in the middle of the road... there are two palm trees really blocking the view of what seems to be an important part of the building. for that reason I'd considering changing camera position (up/down), modifying the trees's location or just removing them altogether. Last thing, it looks like the building's texture is a little big, but thats just might be due to the grainy nature of the image. Looking forward to see progress. I wonder how far you can take it in VUE as far as lighting and textures. Good luck.
