Mcneel Rules

In times when everyone seems to have a gripe with software developers, I was very impressed with the makers of one of my favorite modeling program, Rhino. I was complaining about there being no in block editing and a programmer spent the weekend and added it to the software. I wish AutoDesk had support like that.

I thought I might post a link to some of the cool things they've been working on to:

They have a pretty cool paneling plug in.

With the integration of V-Ray rhino 4 will be an extremely good architectural modeling program. I've just been so impressed with McNeel recently.

McNeel have always been among my favorite companies to deal with. My direct involvement was mostly with the pre-v1 betas, but I'm still a customer. I don't use Rhino much, but I agree that the company is great.

I fully agree as a beta user since the mid 90's too and having seen many things I request/wish for added in that time frame.

I am using v4 daily to replace any need for: 3dmax, illustrator, indesign, and autocad fully in my workflow as well as a bridge to go to FEA for a revolutionary building system to do structural.
