Help In Mental Ray

HI there,

 

I need help please. I was using Mental Ray and it suddenly said 'photons not stored after emitting 1000000 photons, cancel emission job.

 

What should I do to solve this problem.

Do you have any photon recieving objects?

Is the scene "closed" by a dome or in a room?

Sorry I don't know what is photon receiving object. I'm new to Mental Ray.

But it is a bedroom.

 

Please help me how to go about using mental ray.

Is the bedroom lit from within or are the light(s) outside the room.

 

-If the lights are within the room you might not have ticked " all objects generate and recieve GL and caustics" under the tab indirect light.

-or right click object to open properties -tab mental ray and tick the box object recieve GI and generat GI

 

if the light is outside the room, the dome or sphere thing will help.

My lights are lit within the room. It was alright all along but now whenever i render, it prompted 'cancel emission job'. I was shocked because I didn't change anything.
