vermu
Hi all, There are some bad errors in the pic like the seam at the lower roof section etc. I am going to add and change things abit. But what do you think of the overall feeling? Do you get the feeling "hey I could live there"
Paul Griger
Hi vermu, Nice pic. Yes, I do like the feel of the pic. Very tranquil feeling IMHO. But it’s not my style of architecture, sorry, so I couldn’t say that I would want to live there. But I could see wanting to visit my grandmother there and eating some fresh baked bread best, paul
Brian Cassil
I could swear that IS my grandmothers house
jucaro
Was a HDRI used in that rendering? And also, what software was used? As detailed as your rendering goes, the details of your post eludes me.
vermu
Max4 was used for modeling and brazil with GI for rendering. Thx for the crits and grandmother comments
bigcahunak
Hi, Nice render. I like the blurry look. Is it strait out of Brazil, or do you have some PS work there as well? Regards.
vermu
Brazil render is abit dark cause I use low bounce values to save render times. I incerease the lightnes of the pic in PS and add that blurry haze also. There is quite a big difference between straight from the brazil version and PS version. vermu
I updated the pic in this post and it's now nearly finished version. Maybe I'll add some poeple. Do you guys have any good suggestions for improvements?
nisus
Nice (you took out the seam) Personally I prefer it if you post the new file instead of replacing the old one so anyone can track your process rgds nisus
mzagorski
Vermu, NICE render... clean modelling, nice composition. Feeling I get is that it would be nice to animate it with Cebas Pyro... get a nice Twister to rip through it... How did you make your grass?.. its looks quite nice. vermu
Nisus: Yep, you are right about updating. Next time I'll do it the right way. mzagorski: Grass is a mix of two heavily photoshopped grass pics I took last summer. It's the first grass I have made that looks nice and is suited for large areas without visible seams.
