Cesar R
Here is a model of rendering I am working on. I am using brazil as my renderer. (firt time), the model was created in Archicad, and inported into MAX for textureing, etc. I plan to superimpose it on an image of the construction site. However the test I've done, do not look very good. Ill welcome suggestions as well as critiques. thanks for your time guys. This is kind of what final product is supposed to look like. This image need a lot of PS work, but I don't know where to start.
nisus
Hi Cesar, Make sure you got correct depth and overlap: the leaves of your plants in the foreground should overlap your house. The sunlight has to come from the same direction in the photo and your rendering. I notice a shadow of a tree - on the grassfield to the left -going from left to right whereas you're sun is coming from the opposite direction. You'll probably have a shadow from the trees casting on your building as well. (Notice the harsh contrast between the dark area in the grass field and the light yellow left/under corner of the house. There is also a lot of 'tiling' in the carport-area as a result of the cloning/stamp tool. Maybe you can overlay a transparant cg plane... rgds nisus

Cesar R
thanks guys, does anyone know where I can download "people" and "plants" for free, for renderings?
nisus
Hi Cesar, I suggest you go out one sunny day with a (digital) camera taking lots of pictures of people. That way you'll have a unique collection instead of using the same old over. Remember the sky.jpg? That image was seen in most backgrounds a few years ago, and still is! It still makes me laugh whenever I see it... rgds nisus
