tom10
Hi all, can anyone help me please? I would like to export an elevation drawing from archicad into Photoshop without adjusting the scale, the quality of the drawing or the line thickness. Does anyone know how to carry this out as I have no idea? I basically want to render my image in Photoshop and hatching, whilst adding some new affects that I have picked up using Photoshop. If anyone has any idea, please, please let me know asap. Thanks for reading this. Tom
plastic
well, print a PDF. using the PDF virtual print driver that comes with archicad. you have to install it before the first use, from the startmenu. or use acrobat professional, but it doesnt always play nice with archicad. the you can import and rasterize the PDF with photoshop. this will give you the best results. saving a bitmap from archicad directly is rubbish. what people tend to do more often than using photoshop, is using illustrator, for colorizing plans. IMO it's not worth the effort, i prefer clean drawings
